Who we are

This website is operated by Australasia Consulting Group Pty Limited (ACG), ABN 84 057 509 770, trading as Strata Operational Support (SOS). In this policy, “we”, “us” and “SOS” refer to that business. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We collect the personal information you choose to give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, your role, the location of your scheme and the details you include in an enquiry or in later correspondence. In the course of an engagement we may also receive records about a strata scheme that contain personal information about owners, residents or contractors.

How we use it

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, carry out and administer engagements, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Disclosure

We disclose personal information only where needed for these purposes — for example, to associates or specialist partners working on an engagement under confidentiality obligations, to our professional advisers, or where required by law. Information received about a scheme is treated as confidential to that scheme.

Website, cookies and service providers

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It is hosted by Netlify, which processes contact form submissions, and our email is hosted by Migadu. The site’s fonts are delivered by Google Fonts, which receives your browser’s IP address when the page loads. These providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe. We take reasonable steps to use reputable providers with appropriate security practices.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and then delete or de-identify it.

Access, correction and complaints

You may ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing enquiries@strata-sos.com.au or writing to PO Box 285, Epping NSW 1710. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
